The course here in Burnham, which is 20 minutes south of Christchurch, is a full 18 holes. The army built the course in 1953 and carries the story of military history in its fairways. Including 2 fairways that doubled as a runway when required. The full 18 was completed in 1960 and serves this community very well indeed.
The website hero image is a picture of Augusta, this may not exactly replicate Burnham Golf Course, but they do have many pines and it is a little less busy and more affordable.
