My opinion will be subjective, based on my scoring! The weather! How many golf balls I lose! Who I am with?
Ultimately the location, the quality of the course design, the condition of the greens and fairways will be major considerations. But a golf course is more than that, service, friendliness, the attitude of the golf course team will play a large part. The temperature of the pies might swing the scores in the right direction. Although I am from Scotland so maybe the cost of a round will be the deciding factor. The good old value of my money.
