As I move through New Zealand and play every course I will update my list of Top New Zealand Golf Courses.

My opinion will be subjective, based on my scoring! The weather! How many golf balls I lose! Who am I with?

Ultimately, the location, the quality of the course design, and the condition of the greens and fairways will be major considerations. But a golf course is more than that. Service, friendliness, and the attitude of the golf course team will play a large part. The temperature of the pies might swing the scores in the right direction. Although I am from Scotland, maybe the cost of a round will be the deciding factor—the good old value of my money.
