The club was formed in 1911. Hanmer Springs Golf Club is a social club and in a small town, 90 minutes north of Christchurch. From 1990, Hanmer Springs became a resort town with the hot pools as the major draw card, behind the golf course.
Self-dubbed as “New Zealand’s Favourite Destination Golf Club”, the club is worth a visit to prove this point.
