Located in Riverhead near the wine region of Kemu, just 20 minutes from central Auckland. Huapai Golf Club is a pristine golf course and has many features that make it an enjoyable golf course.
The 18 holes here take you on a journey through the mature trees, along the Hare Krisna temple, over contoured fairways, with good bunkering, attractive duck-filled ponds, and water views from time to time.
In 1939 the land here at Harkins Point was purchased, giving birth to the golf course. A well-thought-out challenging golf course that is easy walking was the result.
The run from the 9th through to the 13th is testing, but a real treat. A proper Devil’s Elbow, a proper drivable par 4, and a character par 3 will fill your golfing soul.
The 3rd is a par three that makes the Top Holes of NZ list for some people. There are a few contenders on the Huapai Golf Course, go and judge for yourself.
