Inglewood Golf Club

Inglewood village has its own 18-hole golf course with views of Mount Taranaki ( of course.) The club was born in 1947 and moved to its current home in 1965.

Some nice hole names here, the first ” Massey” will test your opening tee shot with the main road lining the left-hand side of the fairway. And credit to the hole naming committee for listing the hole names and their history. They are even bold enough to admit they don’t know, see the website – No information to date as to how the name came to be, or the significance of it.
If anyone has any information on this, please contact Cam.

There is an Egmont ( of course) on this flat tree-lined course, which will be a bargain at $25 per round.
