Onewhero Golf Club is located at Pukekawa, a southerly drive out of Auckland for 40 minutes. You get off State Highway One at Mercer and cross the impressive Waitako river to find this challenging course. There are 18 holes set in a mature tree-lined setting.
The Onewhero Golf Club has just celebrated 90 years as a golf club. Formed in 1929, the club has had moved a few times over the years but golf has been played at this location since 1961.
A fertile part of the world, with rich volcanic soil, promotes great growth. The course has impressive trees, water hazards and bunkers, you need to be prepared to be challenged.
