Paparoa Golf Club is in the Kaipara District of Northland. Just 20 minutes off of state highway 1 towards Maungaturoto on the Kauri trail and you find the village of Paparoa.
The nine holes of golf here is truly rural in a peaceful valley. Paparoa means long flat rock – good for skimming on Kaipara Harbour no doubt. The village has 270 locals who create a vibrant part of rural New Zealand.
The local farm stock keep the fairways in good condition, farmland golf at it’s best.
