Titahi Golf Club

On the bay on the outside of Porirua is the home of Michael Campbell. He grew up here and learned the skills to win the US Open in 2005 when he was at the height of his powers.

The course feels links-like with very little tree action but many a difficult stance to deal with in your journey around the 9 holes. A short 5,133 metres for the 2 rounds of 18. Short does not equal easy, risk and reward par 4’s will suck you in and long par 3’s make life tricky enough. Add a wind on these cliff tops and you need to be good. ( like Cambo)

Location is amazing, the team and the locals are unassuming and the golf is majestic. It is one of New Zealand’s top 9 hole courses for sure.
