Located on the tourist mecca of Waiheke Island. A place for lovers of wine and beaches and maybe for those who fancy a round at the golf course. Waiheke is the largest and most populated of the inner islands of the Hauraki Gulf.
There are 11 greens and 18 tee boxes. The green fees are surely the cheapest thing on the Island. The course was voted the best 9 hole “Northern” golf course. Not sure who voted for this and in what year, but ultimately I’ll be the judge of that!
If you haven’t been to Waiheke Island I urge you to get on the ferry for 45 minutes from Auckland. (with you clubs) Enjoy the beautiful wineries and amazing scenery, but make time in your itinerary to play golf.
