Stop to pause here at Christchurch Golf Club, the second-oldest club in New Zealand. Established in 1873 at Hagley Park, then moved to Russley Golf Clubs location, to rest here in Shirley in 1900. This place is oozing history.
The Club hosted the New Zealand Open Championships in 1910 and a further 10 times after that, so show some respect. Check out the 150th Anniversary book, interesting reading.
