This gently undulating 18 holes is in an easy walking and pretty course, with native bushland creating a scenic and interesting layout. Located in the beautiful beach town of Oakura, just south of New Plymouth.
There is no current evidence that it affords great views of Mount Taranaki and there is no mention of “Egmont” as a hole name. So one would call in unique in Taranaki.
The club’s history dates back to 1964 when a local farmer designed the course for the community to enjoy.
