Roxburgh Golf Club

A rugged beauty and schist dotted fairways await you here in Otago. Roxburgh is famous for Jimmy’s Pies, grab one of those and get out onto this hidden gem of a golf course.

Right on State Highway 8, the course is a foolishly short 4372 metres. Stay focused, the mental complacency and amazing but distracting scenery will leave you wondering how you didn’t manage to tame the course.

This is a unique golf course even for Aotearoa so don’t miss it. If you only play one hole play the 4th, and come off with a par 3 if you can.

A great and long history started in 1904, or so they think, it is outlined on their website, check it out below.
