Legend has it that back in 1876 two farming families brought to life this land that now is home to Waitakere Golf Course. The Sisam family and the Miekle family farmed here for over 60 years. Waitakere Golf Club took over the land on the current site in 1947 and established the Golf club as we know it today.
Located up in the Waitakere ranges surrounded by native bush and only 30 minutes from downtown Auckland. This course is a challenge with its undulating hills and tricky greens.
