An interesting start to public golf in Wellington, the course opened in 1915 as Wellington Municipal Golf club changing it’s name to Mornington Golf club 4 years later.
It was the vision of a Scot ( of course) Dr. Cameron who brought public golf to the capital. After a lengthy legal battle to allow golf to be played on a Sunday the course was becoming very popular.
Only 5 minutes from central Wellington in Berhampore you can walk up and get a round here for a cool $20 dollars for your 18 holes.
