Pleasant Point Golf Club

The course is 12 km from Timaru in the township of Pleasant Point. The course has the Southern Alps as its backdrop.

There are 18 holes for your enjoyment across the flat walkable course. On the website, there is a list of the hole names and the history of the name. I now like this place – except that they called the 1st Westward Ho. It is the name of a famous course in Devon, England, in a town called Westward Ho. Goodness only knows why every course has to weave it into their hole names.
