Only 15 minutes from Auckland City is Remuera Golf Club. A woodland 18 holes established in 1934. A friendly club with excellent facilities, including a good driving range.
The area started with 2 courses, a private members course and a public sidekick. Some of the most expensive land in Auckland is right here, so easy decision to sell up and reduce the course to one 18 holes course.
More development of the course was undertaken in the early 2000’s and it is now really a shining star of New Zealand Top Golf Courses.
The club has a well-frequented bar and restaurant. It is one of the most sought after memberships in Auckland and for sure one of the busiest places to get a tee time.
All across the course is a variety of great golf holes. The greens are top class and a difficult read most of the time. The Signature hole number 3 is a nervous 164 metres but is an amazing looking hole. You’ll find this one on the list of Best Golf Holes in New Zealand.
