Back in 1906 the Waihi Golf club was established, a nine hole course until 1953 when it moved to the current location and set up this attractive 18 hole course.
Situated 5km south of Waihi township, just off State Highway 2. This attractive, immaculately groomed course is extremely challenging and features well-presented large undulating greens.
Par 72 over 5,685 metres, it is an all-weather course with excellent drainage, mature tree-lined fairways and controlled rough.
At the back of the course, there are panoramic views of the Kaimai Range and the Waihi district.
Waihi Golf Club is the best-kept secret in the Coromandel and Bay of
Plenty area and is a must-see for serious golfers.
